IM.codes is open-source software released under the GNU General Public License v3.0 (GPLv3). You are free to use, modify, and distribute it in accordance with that license.

Service Description

IM.codes provides a chat interface for controlling AI coding agents (Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, OpenCode) via terminal sessions. The service relays commands and output between your browser/mobile app and your local daemon process.

AI Output Disclaimer

AI agents produce output autonomously. IM.codes relays this output but does not generate, verify, or guarantee it. AI-generated code, commands, and responses may be incorrect, incomplete, or harmful. You are responsible for reviewing and validating all AI output before use.

Self-Hosted Security

If you self-host the IM.codes server, you are responsible for:

The hosted service at app.im.codes is provided as-is, without warranty. We make reasonable efforts to keep it available but do not guarantee uptime or data durability. You should maintain your own backups.

IM.codes is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. The authors and contributors are not liable for any damages arising from the use of this software, including but not limited to data loss, security breaches, or costs incurred from AI-generated output.
